With some tutorials and lots of fiddling around, I have figured out how to use layers to my advantage. I still have a lot to learn, but the basics will afford me hours of fun.

The feeling of fall

My latest angel, JaXxon

I spent some time with a couple who lost their baby, JaXxon. When I first saw him, I wondered how something so precious could be so heartbreaking. Here are the photos that caused tears to spill over while editing, I'll never forget this angel and his family. I still think about the other angels I've met. They are so small, but the impression they've left in my heart is huge.

Sacred Grove

This is one print I will have to frame when I have the chance. I just loved how the sun was just right and it lit up this grove of trees.

Maternity Shoot

Photo Challenge - Self Portrait

A friend challenged us (ladies in an exclusive group) to take a self portrait. We're suppose to use the self-timer and express ourselves - tell who we are in this portrait. So here are my entries, it's a tough one because I don't take pictures of myself - only other people/things/places/etc. There are 3 earthly things I can think of that I love; family, travel and photography. I need them all to be healthy. I entered my family picture - in a previous post and these 2.

Fun couple!

I did a wedding more than 2 weeks ago and this was a fun couple, they were laid back and easy to work with. While I was shooting, the neighbor dog wandered into the pictures so the groom picked him up and I captured one fun moment before sending the dog on his way.
